Who said short days would be easy ones? After climbing a relatively easy summit (with no name,) we descended into hell, aka unrelenting 15-20 mph headwinds. Once in town, Doug worked on a few bike issues, nothing serious. Next was a trip to the grocery store since this is the biggest town we will be in for several days.
Tomorrow promises to be challenging as we have a 4,000 foot climb starting as soon as we leave Cedar City. Thank goodness the bimboys show up from time to time with water, food and encouragement.
Tonight our thoughts are with our good friend Karen Raymer who lost her mother early this morning.
